My buddy calls me yesterday and says he talked to a landowner not far off that has had coyotes howling basically in is backyard for the last couple nights.
Sounds great, lets do it. Only problem is that with the wind and permission we have, the only way to do it is with our backs to one of the busiest highways in the state.
Well, it was worth a shot...

I hit a little bit left of center, which sent the bullet and resulting carnage down the left side of the rib cage instead of straight into the vitals.
I'm still getting used to the new scope.

Pair it with a good bullet like the 75 ELDM or 77 TMK and I think you'll be very happy.

I am planning on using the 75 ELDM. What powder are you using SY? I have some RL26 I plan on using and want to get them to 3600ish fps.

I'm using RL16 for my nighttime rifle, mostly because I had some that I wasn't using for anything else. 41.4 Grains gets me 3385 fps out of a 20" barrel.

For a different 22 Creed with a 24" barrel, I'm using 47.5 grains of RL26 to hit darn near 3700 FPS. The Lapua case is pretty full. I use a sonicare toothbrush to vibrate each case and settle the powder so I'm not crunching it so much when seating the bullet.
