Cabela's Nikon Prostaff Sale

I currently have a redfield 5 gold star 4-12x40 on my .220 swift and have been noticing that it isn't as clear as I would like. Cabela's has a sale going right now, nikon prostaff 3-9x40 for $99. Is this worth the deal and is this an upgrade?

its a decent price, not a huge sale, but i do think it is an upgrade

I personally don't see that much of an improvident for your money invested. I would say pass.

I love my prostaff scopes have owned a few over the years.My muzzleloader has had a 3-9 on it for about 5 or 6 years and 200 or so shots of magnum powders and it doesn't skip a beat.

I saw them after I ordered one from SWFA for the same price, but Cabelas is offering free shipping, SWFA shipping is about $14.00. I have one on a .243, no problems with mine. I wasn't in a hurry, I would have backordered it from Cabelas if I had it to do over again.
