Cabelas predator lounge

I recently had knee surgery so calling has been difficult. So I was looking on cabelas to burn gift cards and ran across these chairs. I've used the foxpro vest, Turkey vest and all kinds of cushions over the years. So I ordered a pair of these chairs and will say I should of been using them for years. They sure make sitting 30-45 minutes much more enjoyable. Plus no more wet @$$ and muddy truck seats

Best money you could ever spend , so comfy you could fall asleep. Alps Outdoors had them out years ago and now they don't make but there basically the same as the cabelas one. I will leave my gun behind before I ever leave my chair behind.

I have one, and absolutely feel the same. There is a lot of gear that if I broke or lost it, I could make due without...if my chair goes, I will have another that day.

I've got one similar I use for turkey hunting, comes in great when you setup in a spot where there isn't a substantial tree to lean on.

Well, based on all the replies above, I "pulled the trigger" and just got one too...

Have to say, I was really impressed with the amount of side-to-side movement that I have in it...

Not that you're supposed to move a lot!!! But I got it with a nagging concern about being "confined" in it...

I found if I had to move -- and if I could do so without spooking my quarry -- that I can easily get a shot off from 7PM to my left side (am a righty, front of seat is at 12 o'clock) around to 1 or 2PM on the right. Sitting on top of a 2" foam/camo turkey seat placed in the lounge raised me up a little and helped me "spin" a little easier.

Obviously, setup will be key. Now I just need to try it out on some FUR!!!

Or maybe for a nap..................

Going to try my new Cabelas predator seat tonight. The strap does look short, but think I will try it first. I have some 1" strap left over from another project, and think about splicing some along with a quick snap buckle. Should work and give a longer strap.

I use Gear Ties to hold my chairs together while packing, I don't care for Velcro when getting setup, especially calm days a guy makes enough noise as it is. I bought the Gear Ties at cabelas too. I use them also to attach my bog pod shooting sticks to my Eberlestock pack.

I really like my new Predator lounge! Shot three coyotes last week and I think being able to rest my shooting elbow on the side frame helps a lot. Wish I had bought it sooner.

Shot nine coyotes outta these and one kit fox while on vacation in AZ last week. I bought a pair and left them there at my buddies house for next time. I wouldn't call without one now! I can say I like the first gen chairs better being the backrest didn't slip on and off. Also they were lighter and the frames are flat black instead of shiny gunmetal. I have a first gen here at home I've used for turkey hunting for years.
