Caught this nice female today using a full can of tuna under the back of my cage trap, also had some Long Distance Call above in the brush

Jack Kelly,
The blue feather is the tail end of a cat toy, I borrowed from my wife...I had a fishing hook put through it and hung it in the back of the cage with a swivel. I have noticed any type of visual attractor to peak their curiosity into the cage helps. I made up some of my own fuzzy critters out of cardboard, brown felt, and a stick on eye. I need to make some more those have since been destroyed. They really can tear the inside of a cage up...worth it every time.

Countrybred,
It was just baseline cheapo tuna in oil, we had a few cans around the house, that were in the back of the pantry. My wife prefers tuna in water instead of oil, so no telling how long these have been there. Paid for themselves and then some.

Very good idea, Lord knows we have enough of those around my house, my wife raises Briards and the young ones go through dog toys like they're free...now I have a good way to salvage them. Nice cat and fox by the way, I would like to catch a red fox.

Coon8448,
that is a cage trap from Mercer Lawing out of California.

MadOkie,
I see what your saying, but I think its actually her hind foot close behind her front making it look like she has 8 toes.

Thanks Bigsky,
I have tallied up 5 cats so far with my biggest coming last week in a leg hold. Nice big mature tom that stretched out to a nice 42 inches.
