hey fellas, got a caldwell bipod for my .204 the other day. this is my first bipod. the fella at the store that sold it said they were well liked, lite and sturdy. what are yal's take on this bipod? Thanks, Brad

I dont have a Caldwell but I have a Harris that I really like. The only problem that I have with it is that sometimes when I am shooting from elevation is that it is not quite tall enough. Shooting uphill or on flats it is perfect. I think that Caldwell and Harris are pretty close.

I do have Caldwell Bipods and I love them they are great. The height difference between the sitting Caldwell and the Harris is The caldwell goes to 30in and the Harris only goes to 27in. Believe me 3in makes a big difference.
Alot of people dont like bipods they prefer shooting stixs which to each his own. But for me I like Bipods. I think that you will love them I know I do.

Here is a pic coyote that I took a couple of weeks ago without my trusty Caldwell bipods I think that I would have missed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have one Caldwell and four Harris bipods. My Harris models have the notches on the legs and I really don't like the leg adjustment on the Caldwell. I like the tilt and rotate feature though. I may have to invest in a Harris with the swivel feature.

I have two of the Caldwells and I love them. They are inexpensive and the pan and tilt features are the best. You cannot go wrong with these bi-pods. Paul /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
