I have a few here I have been able to finish. These are all hunter grade calls, made for the field. Ya don't have to worry about scratching them up or banging them around, they will take it.
The first is a set of water buffalo. The open reed features my Arky 1/2 inch tone board. It is machined from clear cast acrylic, not extruded. It is double "O" ring fitted. The matching closed reed is tuned Just Jack. These are a bit smaller than many I make, though they have all the volume they need. As with all my horn calls, there is no finish...just a wee bit of polishing....
This matched set is 65.00 TYD
Next is a Screamin' Demon. I found a stash of my old Demon toneboards, from when I used to mould them...easy to blow and the sounds are off the charts. I have no doubt called more coyotes with a Demon than any others I have ever blown. This one is also a piece of Water Buffalo horn, and meant to be a workhorse. It is 32.50 TYD
Lastly, I guess I was getting a bit nostalgic as I built this one after a fashion of those I did years ago. It is from a piece of dyed and stabilized, Box Elder burl. The ABS plastic insert has a tonal port, allowing a bit of a different sound depending upon whether it is covered or open. This one is tuned Just Jack...this one is yours for 30.00 TYD
Just a reminder, Christmas will be here before you know it. If you are wanting a custom call from any of the call makers, you need to speak up quickly. I can't speak for others, but I am getting near booked to have anything in time for Christmas...
