I actually have had great luck hunting in the mild rain. I have shot a few coyotes that were soaking wet from the rain. I actually prefer hunting during mild rain. The one thing that I don't like about it is that you have to dry and clean your gun after every hunt. I just set up a fan next to the gun safe and let it dry it out good to prevent rusting. If you decide to give it a try, I recommend getting some flip up scope covers. You may have some problems with your scope fogging up. I had this happen during a snow storm and missed a coyote at about 30 yards because of it. I have a coyote special scope with the honeycombs on the front that prevent you from wiping fog off of your scope. Good luck.
