As Sittinpretty mentioned...Fawn in Distress is going to work on Deer or Coyotes, maybe put out a Feather Distractor and see whats happens with that?
If it gets really slow and I don't see any Deer movement I do a little Barking/Yelping and I use the Mouse Squeaker for anything that is potentialy close.I'm also Bow Hunting...and would rather be Predator/Coyote Hunting but were not allowed to carry any firearms unless we have a Concealed Carry License, then Your looking at trying to put down a Coyote with a Pistol/Handgun which is possible for something further out and Your a good shot!
I'm going to buy me a Fox Pro "Jack Attack" motion Decoy and set it out while Bow/Deer Hunting...that way if I do see a Coyote I can turn it on and get them to come in for a Bow Shot...I did put my Coyote Decoy out the other day while Rifle Hunting for Predators and saw 3 Deer come out to the field and leave because of the decoy....so thats a No No if Your Archery Hunting and if the Deer see a Yote they will be leaving or taking a different path away from You and the Decoy!
Another thing to consider..and since we are allowed to shoot Turkeys while Bow Hunting (In Missouri any ways)I would put out a Turkey Decoy, the Deer won't be spooked and they actually follow them around for an extra set of sharp eyes, the Turkeys may come in and You'll get a shot at them...and Coyotes love to kill and eat Turkeys so Your set up for an array of Game and Predators!
