Think out of the box. Use something noone else has used. Try a turkey call, box or slate...anything that normally wouldn't be associated with calling in a predator. It's a curious little zipperhead, something out of the ordinary might perk its interest. Even if the call your using isn't even found in your area, it's worked for me. Coyotes don't normally watch Animal Planet..so they haven't a clue what other creatures inhabit the same ground...if it sounds like "OMG, I'm stuck in this barbwire and I can't get out!" kinda thing....more times often than not, they'll check it out.
