With only an inch like you described it's no big deal.  Wear snow camo or an old sheet, something white and you can absloutely vanish in the cover.  You can really see well and the snow makes seeing an approaching predator a whole bunch easier to see.  The neatest thing is the ability to see tracks.  Study their sign and learn from it.  See where they move, travel, hunt, cut a circle downwind of your stands after you've called to see if one "backdoored" you.  Deep snows may require some different thinking, but only a little is the best combination of all IMHO.
