I shot one a couple days ago as a matter of fact. It was below the bird feeder. I walked right up to it about a foot away and it walked towards me and smelt my boots. ( had one foot in the air ready for the BOOT if he went to bite) .22 cal air rifle put him asleep real quick. Stuck his head in the snow and never moved.
