Calling over a deer carcass

I've got a Jonny stewart mid range electronic caller. I have a couple deer carcasses I'm able to hunt over..I'm looking for any ideas what tape to use? I have the fighting gray fox tape..would that make coyotes come to a fight over the deer?? I also got some bobcats in the area..I'm open to any suggestions you got that will help me out..Thanks

My first thought is one of the many fawn distress tapes. After all, if the coyote hears deer, and then smells deer...(without of course smelling you!)Those yotes are smart buggers and capable of reasoning if you ask me. They might just think a fawn is with it's dead mother. If you have a remote caller I'd place the speaker with the deer and then move to a position where your less likely to be winded, like in an uphill spot where you can survey the area for incoming dogs. If you don't have a remote caller just get a cassette tape and erase the first few minutes off the cassette giving yourself a chance to get up in position. That's my 2 cents worth. Good luck!!!

Thanks for your suggestion..I got the carcass out away from a large pointed hill..from the top of that hill I got lots of seeing distance..It also gets my smell away from the action..I just checked the carcass again late this afternoon and there has been a bobcat at it..I never gave the fawn Idea a thought..as our deer have been without fawns now for many months..I'm going to hunt it tomorrow night..I got a spotlight with a red lense..I'll be about 50 yrds away and way up looking down at the carcass.. I'm waiting for my new 22-250 to get to my dealer..right now I'm shooting with my 280! It really kills a coyote but doesn't leave alot to skin! I'm not shooting any cats with it..I'd like a big Tom to mount..I'll wait for the 22-250..It will be made the end of this month I'm waiting on the New Model 12 Savage with the heavy varmit barrel and lam stock..My dealer will be getting the first of them off the line..again thanks for the idea

you might want to be a little more than 50 yards away if you use a 22-250 and want to mount a bob. I used mine on one that was about 75 yards away with a 55 grain nosler bt and it blew it's whole back off (entrance in lower chest exit through back). I'd go with a 40gr at reduced vel. if you can. $.02 worth.
