I will agree with soreloser, but my tactics change a little this time of year. I always start out with a interogation howl or female invitation. Then I will wait about four to five minutes if nothing shows up or responds then I go to Ki-Yi's. It all depends on hunting pressure and I like to use other distres sounds. I only hand call so fawn,Ki-Yi or rabbit is all I can do. If I get a response I do what they do. If I get a challenge howl I will challenge back just a little higher pitched than them so it sounds like a younger male and I challenge them alot really raise heck. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. To me its very exciting to have a dominant male come in looking for a fight. My .02
