My sequence is to call for maybe 10 seconds, then watch for 4-5 minutes, repeat. I watched one coyote come in from maybe 1/2 mile on the first sequence alone. Shot her at 30 yards without me making another sound. She had me pinpointed. I'll stay on stand for about 20 minutes, longer if it 'feels' right.
