Calling turkeys in the fall

I drew an Arizona fall turkey tag. The tag is good for any turkey. I'd prefer to shoot a gobbler if possible but will take a hen if a shot presents itself. Does anyone have any tips for calling in a turkey in early October? I have some experience calling turkeys for a spring hunt. Thanks, Mike.

I use alot of feeding clucks and do alot of scratching. The other thing is go out and find them on the roost. I setup a couple hen and jake decoys a few hundered yards away. Hopefully this will work for other than easterns. I always go out and find where they have been feeding too.

Fall of the year. I've never had much success calling. Went to ambushing them as they went out to feed. Seemed to work OK. Need to spend time in the woods to know where they travel. This all helps. Never used a decoy. Might try it, thanks for the tip.
