I was sitting in the field last weekend, waiting on the geese to come in when I decided my black Stoeger needed a protective coating. We were wearing whites, and laying in a frozen creek full of snow drifts, and besides sticking out like a sore thumb, it also looked like I had been useing it for an oar. So I got a couple of cans of Outdoor Stone Tan and flat Olive Drab taped her off and sprayed my standard camo pattern on it this week.
Not the best I've ever done, but it covered and stuck real well. Hope this will keep it from rusting when it sleeps in my truck!
