Ok guys, I have decided that its time for me to stop paying with tapes and go digital.
I have two ideas, one is my ideal caller, the second is what I can live with.
I'm going to set the cost limit at 200 but would really like to spend less than that.
What I really want-
A digital caller than runs off an mp3 player, uses a rechargable battery like what is found in a JS 512 cassette caller, uses the JS long range horn speaker, and is remote controled with the control featuring a number pad to select sounds.
This I don't know if I can do so I need some advise here.
That I figure I will end up doing.
Settle for an mp3 based caller without the remote control. I would like to canabilize the batery and speaker off my JS 512, can somebody tell me if this is feasable.
Third option would be to buy a JS converta caller and an mp3 and be done with it.
What do you guys think on this. I read the tech section instructions but am unsure is I would be happy with the battery system used.
Need your advice and thanks in advance.
