The Nady DK W1 that I purchased seems to be pretty well put together on the circuit board. I don't see why one would not hold up for a long time with genral care of the unit. The transmitter used the cable from the MP 3 Player to the unit for the antenna, and it screws into the transmitter for a very secure conncetion.
Mine is relatively new so I can't say for sure how long it will last. I'll get back to you in a couple of years or so /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
