Canadian belt knives

Who like the Canadian belt knife design? I have been issued a D.H. Russell jump knife in the military and still have it to this day after years of abuse.

Now I just ordered the classic D.H. Russell/Grohmann #1 with stag handle scales. Can't wait to try it out!

Nice looking blade. I like those stag scales.
These "Canadians" have had my attention for some time and I've been wanting to try one .
Christmas is coming ,it may be a good time to pick one up.

If you guys get the original D.H. Russell/Grohmann knife, go with the carbon steel blade as the mystery steel they use to make their stainless blades is quite soft.

Yes, I like CS as opposed to "factory stainless".

Think it's 420 maybe?

Was checking out these last week. 1095 steel. I think you can get blanks also. Found some old Herters blanks also......
