Just got one today from sportsmans. I have been using a radioshack home brew rig but saw this and had to get it to try out. Its honestly just as loud and sounds fairly clear. Using my ipod with Varmint Al sound files. Seems very well made. The speaker is of the marine water resistant type as well (you can easily see it through the speaker grill). All in all easily worth the $39.95.

Awesome, i ordered one and am waiting on it, seems a little easier to handle then the home brew rig...got anyhting with it yet?...im gunna use my mp3 with it, if u hook up a johny stewart attractor to it you have a remote ecaller for anout 60 bux,thanks, NG

Nope haven't used it yet. Literally got it today. Got it all hooked up and watched my dog go nuts for a bit but that's all.

hah thats funny i try all my calls out on my dog he goes wild over some of them...the coyote howls really get him worked up.
