Cass Creek calls?

borrowed time

New member
Hi folks, first post here, great forum! got a question: anybody use the little Cass Creek predator calls? i have two predator and one crow call and havent had much luck on either. any success with these out there?

I have managed to call in one coyote using a coyote and dying rabbit call at the same time (alternating use to sound like a dog was killing one). unfortunately, the kid i was calling for missed it LOL thank you! --Eric

The problem with the little CC callers is volume. They just don't have much.

If there happens to be a critter close enough to hear it (and you have done your part, they ain't call shy, blah, blah, blah) when you're playing it, they will dang sure come to the sounds it makes.

Since you're on borrowed time, make the most of it. Might wanna look into something with a little more oomph in the volume department.

Where abouts in CO do you call home?

I had wondered about those so you could have something small in your pocket to call with. Like when deer hunting or even skwerl hunting and you see a coyote passing by or if the action is slow.
I know a hand call is small and easy to carry too.
