cass creek nomad

I tried one out in the store once. It sounded very scratchy when turned up 1/4 way. I doent know how it would sound in the woods, or to a yote. But if it doesnt sound good to me I'm sure dogs wouldn't like it either.

Just do what I did. Buy or make a good quality caller, then when the wife says "you aren't going hunting again are you" you say "but hunny, I have to get my moneys worth out of my new caller." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

Any cas creek caller in my humble experience is a piece of useless junk, your better off with a mouth caller or one of the attractor calls sounds way better.

If thats all the more you're gonna use then I say it wouldn't hurt to try it for the money. My biggest concern is that I see them in the blister packs with no way to hear the sounds.

Well in all respect, when I could not afford much and wanted to experiment with electronics I bought a CC. It was the only electronic I could afford.

I bought the standard predator model. I used it 4 times, and I called cats and jackals with it on every attempt. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I agree the sounds were tinny and scratchy BUT they killed for me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I have just bought a BOAR model as i am taking American clients to Namibia and want to give it a try just for fun, I am taking the Foxpro but want to have some fun as well.

These models do work, its just the quality that is largely different, you get what you pay for in this world. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
