cat/kitten distress

I have heard mention of a cat/kitten distress call for coyotes. Any of you ever use it and where do you get a cat in distress call? I have never seen them in the stores or even included in an E-caller. Im more curious as to what it sounds like more than anything. I have a cat, should I just step on it's tail to hear it?....lol..KIDDING
 
JS housecat distress is awesome. all it is is a cat meowing. with the the "cat growls" mixed in. It also changes tone and pitch a lot.
 
I have cat in distress on mine and it is awesone. I use it where there are houses within a few miles. That way they are familiar with the sound. Coyotes love that one, it is great!
 
JS PreyMaster comes with a card with house cat distress. I use it to mess with my friends dog, LOL. I also plan to use it to try and get a coyote at his dads place. His dad has ALOT of cats there and every so often they get thinned out by coyotes comming up from the creek. I figure a sure fire way to get a coyote there is to give them a sound they are used to hearing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif Gonna try it when we get some snow that stays ESPECIALLY now that I'm wireless. In fact thats the reason that started me looking into gettin rid of that stupid wire.
