Pro's and Con's? I bought one today, just out of curiosity more than anything. I'm sure its not a stock rifle as its in a nice walnut stock that resembles a Cooper varmint style stock and has a stainless heavy sporter barrel in 204R. Having a little issue getting a scope mounted as I run out of windage before its zeroed but I have a Leupold one piece with windage adjustments coming. That should fix it. First thing I did was swab the barrel and it cleaned up real easy and has plenty of wrinkles in the barrel so I am hoping it shoots decent. The guy I got it from had no info on who built it or barrel maker so its just a shot in the dark as to what I got. Its got a great trigger and the rifle is in very good condition. The best part was I got it cheap.......real cheap.

That has been one of my grail guns in 222 Rem, you know they even chambered that little action in 22-250.

I read that last night. I was also noticing that the extractor is just like the one in my Sako Vixen. I am hoping t shoots good. I can't imagine putting that much time, effort and money building this rifle and it not shoot decent. Fingers crossed!!
I did check the barrel twist and its a 12. I should get my scope base mid week so we shall see. Good thing is if it don't I'm in it cheap enough to rebarrel if needed.

I said I wasn't spending money for a new scope until I shot it. Guess I'll start shopping for a scope. Three shots at 100yds was a .164. I think it deserves a decent scope. Wish I knew the history and parts used to build it.
