I was just wondering if we have any aficionados on PM?!?!

I have a pretty large collection of some harder to find cigars and am trying to get rid of some of them. I wasnt for sure if the classified forum over here was an OK spot to post them....

Cohibas....., both Red & Black Dot, Partaga Black, most of the Cusano line, and almost all of the Rocky Patel's, especially the Vintage 1992 Box Pressed (light & dark) are among my favorites. Nothing like a good stogie combined with a Highball made with Canadian Club & Canada Dry Ginger Ale. A combination soothing to the soul.
Worst cigars I've ever smoked is the way overpriced boutique Greycliff and any one of those under the Acid brand label.
What's your poison?

Here's a link that may be of interest to cigar smokers. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/

Best prices, selection, and the fastest shipping I've found anywhere.

Thanks Jeff,
headed off to work (my weekend to work) soon. Will repond tomorrow if he chimes in. Have a good day my friend, hope all is well with you and yours!

My favorites are Cohiba Sublimas, Cohiba Maduro5 Genios, and Monte Christo #2s...I mean those would be my favorites and I'd sure like to try them if only the Cuban embargo was lifted.

Whatcha got blopez50?

Tried quitting, but put on a pair of waders on me and put a flyrod in my hand and it's almost a necessary piece of equipment for me.
Trailer trash? When I was in my 20's I smoked White Owls. My wife still gets queezy just at the thought of them. A friend gave me a Cuban years later and it was off to the races. That said, in my 20's those repulsive little turds (WO's) fit my taste buds (having never had a good cigar) and my budget. These days I know better but honestly my eyes are still bigger than my wallet. LOL.

I knew we had to have a few!

I got to the point where I was doing more collecting than smoking... I was buying hard to find stuff just to say that I had em.. My "everyday" smoke is the Oliva V, cant do wrong with any of the sizes!

The cigars that I'm trying to get rid of are mostly Fuentes (Opus X, WOAM, BTL) and a few tatuajes.

Coloradobob,
Ironically, White Owls are some of the ones I was referring to. LOL
Those, Raleigh's & the true "redneck" cigar...the "Backwoods" brand.LOL

I've never smoked a bad Fuentes (from either side of the house), but some (IMHO) are terribly overpriced, the Opus X being a prime example.

Consider: I can buy Opus X Bellicoso (40 ct) for ~ $1100, or 2 boxes of Rothchild series G (40ct) for ~ $400, and they are IMHO comparable (top quality) cigars. The Opus X might be a slightly better cigar rated by a hundred "blind test" smokers, but certainly not "more than double the price" better.

^ I agree that they can be over priced.. I got them for right about MSRP ($11) for the mini beli so IMHO you cant go wrong with that!

Wasn't meaning to offend. Nothing wrong with any brand of cigars as long as you enjoy them. You can tell I'm lying can't you? LOL. Some people love prime rib, I'd rather have Chicken Fried Steak .............................with Collards, Pinto Beans, Hush Puuuppppyys. Sorry got a little carried away!

I got a little Redneck in me..., fer a Yankee that is. And I'll tell ya, I've had a backwoods. A buddy handed me one after the Rocky Patel that was stuck in my kisser jumped out of my mouth then proceeded to float down the Yampa River like a kayak running a slalom course. Now I wouldn't run right out and buy a package after smoking one but the Backwoods worked. It held me over. It was sweet, had a pleasant aroma to it and it kept the bugs off me. LOL.

By the way did I mention that I used to smoke those nasty White Owls while my wife was pregnant with terrible morning sickness all the time? Dohh!

Oh and now my fishing vest has a watertight 3 cigar case attached to it, so that now I can watch a watertight 3 cigar case run the rapids. I know me, it'll happen.

The first cigar that I ever smoked was a backwoods!! It was what started all of this...

Well.. a question for the members who have been around for a while. Would it be appropriate to post a FS/FT in the classified offering cigars?

I might be conciderd a Cigar whore lol I love a good cigar. As of late I have been smoking cao la traviata, Mx2, Fuente 858 maduros. But with money being tight I have been smopking my Pipe a lot more rp

Dang! More smokers than I figured!

Well I think I'm going to post the FS/FT in the classified and if its out of place, the mods are more than welcome to remove it.
