Anyone having troubles with buyers ?

The last 2-3 weeks I've had 2 buyers go M.I.A. on me!
Both have givin me "I'll take it" and mail info ,but the $ never shows, neither have responded to follow up PM's.

Anybody else , or just my bad luck?

Never had anything but good luck here.

It is summer, & sometimes they go out of town for a few days & don't respond as rapidly as when they need something for that weekend of hunting in fur season. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Keep us posted, or after a reasonable amount of time, re-post the items in the classified. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Simple answer and good old common sense says they shouldn't be committing to something they are going to be around to pay for.
 
Sadly enough, it's a sign of the times. LOTS of this non-payment garbage is happening on quite a few boards. AR15.com has a pretty good policy for this type of nonsense. They keep track of welchers and put a -1 by their name so that sellers can see what/who they are dealing with. It sounds a bit harsh, but they allow both sides to state their case and then make a decision one way or the other. MI VHNTR
 
The first guy was a new member. Everybody is a new member at sometime. So, I gave the guy a chance. I'm hoping nothing happened to him, never got any read receipts from him. I relisted and sold the item.

Next guy... Been a member for over a year ,with only a couple posts. Said he's sending a check right away. Needs the ammo for a Dan Carrey upper ,he is getting built. Sounds good right!? The end of the week is here no $ ! Sent a follow up pm , got a read reciept, no reply. So, I relisted the stuff.


I'm a fair guy and had LOTS of good dealings here! But, I like to be kept up too date on whats going on.

I have had only good luck here.

I mailed some stuff not long ago for work to a town about 50 miles away. Three weeks later, it showed up in their mailbox. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

I really love this place! I've met lots of good people here. I hope it keeps on that way.

I have to agree, most of my dealings here have been very good... " Communication " is the key. If I'm sending money.. keep me informed, same as if I'm Buying. Dont keep me hanging on! I hate being kept in Limbo. Good luck with your sales Tim.
