Going to pickup some new clips for the 223. Running 30 round Alum clips right now and plan on getting a couple 20 rounds also. Is there much difference in the Polymer verses Steel?

Thanks

Aluminum Stripper clips? I use clips for my AR-15 mags, but only with a stripper clip butler creek loader...

The Magpul Pmags are a pretty good magazine...pretty rugged and feed well.

I don't know about all of the brands of polymer mags, but I really like the Magpul Pmags. I haven't had any feeding problems with them yet, and they seem to be easier to load than my aluminum GI mags.

I believe you mean magazines... Clips are used to load magazines. Mags are what you put in the rifle. I like the Pmags or Tango Down ARC mags best but haven't had a problem with anything I've used yet.

I only have one p-mag at the moment but I love them and won't buy anything else. The little dust cover they come with is a pretty cool feature also.

Probably just me.I love P mags but had some failures to feed mil spec m855[62 gr -green tip] in an M4 and CAR 15..swapped out to USGI[alum]mags and ran fine.

Could well be o/o/spec rounds as to length.

If you don't have a LULA loader, great tool IMHO.
