Cody Glass Turkey Call Problems

I purchased a Cody Glass Turkey call earlier this week. I brought it home, took it out of the package and while holding it, the glass popped and cracked right across the middle. I hadn't sanded it or even touched it with a striker. I emailed Cody Calls, but they have not replied.

I would caution anyone who is thinking about shelling out what they want for one of these calls to think about it. Cody seems to not care a lot what happens once they have your money.

Sticking with my Power Crystal for now I guess.
 
I have a cody glass call, but its the $35 one. I got it on clearance for 9 bucks at walmart last year. I had a tom answering it, but I coughned and screwed it up. Its an awesome call, and fancy. I would take it back to the store you got it from and tell them it broke when you used it. They will more than likely give you a new one and send the old back to Cody. Dont forget its turkey season right now, so they are probly swamped with things till late may or early june. Good luck with getting it replaced, when you get a good one they are well worth the money.
 
I have about every Cody call made and any problem I have had Bill has taken care of for me. I have had one of his calls for 19 years and the only problem was once the inner glass came loose. Right now they are very busy with guideing mostly in New York so he isnt home much if at all so that is probably the reason for no reply. Cody calls are worth every penny you spent and I'm sure when they read your e-mail you will get a quick responce and they will make things right.
