Colorado's License Requirements?

To all you Colorado hunters what does it cost an out of stater to buy necesary permits to hunt yotes foxes and Bobs?
Now on the same token how long do you have to live in CO to gain residency and as a resident do you still have to pay for a small game license to hunt predators? And what is the cost?
 
Thanks longcruise for the info. Does anyone know the prices of the liscence I have dial up and it takes for ever to pull up the regs books.
 
You can hunt coyotes with a big game license as long as you use the same rifle you use to take big game. AND once you fil the big game tag you can no longer hunt the coyotes.
Last year I got a small game tag, But to hunt their small game if your just doing it while you deer/elk hunt get the daily license. the yearly was like 56 last year.. But the 5 days we were there for elk I paid in advance for the daily small game license. It only came to 26 bucks for 5 days /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I think it was 11 for 1st day, then 5 for each day after that...
I am doing the same thing again this year when we go /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
They changed that for 06, that you can hunt bobcat with either a small game OR a furbearer. In years past it used to be with just a furbearer. Page 3 under whats new for 2006 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

yep bobcats only require a smallgame lic. now. Also add to that you need to have the $10 habibtat stamp for the lic. as the small game fishing combo is the first lic. you will buy in the first year.
 
Don't you need a hunters safety course to hunt ANYTHING in Colorado? NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE IS or how long you have hunted,,i know a buddy of mine had to turn around on his way to Colorado because he FORGOT to grab his hunter safety card,,of course if you have already hunted there you would know this BUT maybe this might save someone else the heart ache of wanting to hunt Colorado or ANY state that has these requirements

well back in 1982 he HAD TO HAVE the actual card in hand,,i dont know what the law is now,but i know it is a LONG drive to Colorado from Ohio to just WATCH what other hunters get

Yep have to have a hunters safety card if born after a certain date: Like 1940 something I think. I would have it in hand for your purchase. After that it will be "Verified on the Computer" for all lic. issued. Once it is verified the first time it should be ok from there on out.
