Colt Smolt. I think it is just name brand elitism/snobbery or whatever. If you have a Colt AR I ain't saying it is a bad rifle-it just isn't any better and may not be as good for the purpose as some of the well known ARs out there. In fact the rifles taylored especially for the predator/calling market are arguably better for that purpose than any of the Colt models. I ain't planning on getting in a firefight with a company of Chinese soldiers but I reckon my DPMS and Bushmaster would work if I needed them. I carried a M16A1 for a living for a while. It was a Colt and was a good rifle-but no better than my civilian ARs except for the selector switch-which actually was more for fun than practicality/utility imo. TnTnTn
