Compensator?

I have a 16" RRA predator pursuit. while its very manageable recoil wise I would like to see if there is a good option for taming it even more so I can keep a bead on running dogs etc. for me the barrel noise is equally important to cut down. I'm no sissy but thought if there's an logical option maybe I would give it a try.

Most any will help. For combating muzzle rise, one with the ports on the top seems to help the most. There does need to be some on the side as well to combat torque. The problem will be noise, compensators will make the report louder. If you want a little bit of help with both rise and perceived noise, a linear break is the better option. My next AR will have a linear break.

Kies and KNS seem wildly popular. I am going to try the KAK Flash Can that Joe Bob Outfitters carries. Check him out, lots of product with lots of customer feedback.

thanks fella. this got me wondering something else. i bought the rifle here in classifieds. it is the RRA predator pursuit upper and a RRA 6 position carbine lower. i see that RRA does not have the predator pursuit available in anything but the A2 style stock. would there be any parts that the PP lower has that a regular carbine lower need to help with felt recoil?

Have you seen this? http://www.vuurwapenblog.com/technical-i...parison-part-3/

those are some cool videos! so theres basically no way of having your cake and eating it too! the noise is an issue but as a side benefit it would be nice to eliminate some flip to go with it.

howdy y'all I am brand new to this site . I have a savage mod 11 in 243 with the cheap plastic stock which happens to be hollow ! I took off the recoil pad and filled the butt with RICE ! This reduces recoil and balances the rifle nicely since it does have a varmint barrel.
Did the same thing to my BMAG also.
