Convergent Hunting Solutions Bullet HP Bluetooth Calling System

Looking at Convergent Hunting Solutions Bullet HP Bluetooth Calling System. Relatively small and weighs about 3.3 lbs. Comes with 50 sounds (propratory) I think.

It has many features I like when crawling around the mountains. I do not have any issues about it being a bluetooth based system as this is one less thing I have to worry about (remote).

Unfortunately there appear to be no stores carrying this call in the East so I have not been able to get my hands on one: neither do I know anyone with this system. All store locations appear to be around Texas.

Has anyone used this call? I would like to know the quality of sound, true loudness and reliability. Also of concern is the battery as it is apparently permanent. All batteries need replacement at sometime but I like the onboard charging. Anyone using or having experience with this call? Thanks for any feedback!

Byron South did a presentation of the call at the PM convention and it seemed like the real deal. I'm not a phone guy so took little interest in it. I'm sure someone will chime in here with more info.

I have one and I do like it.
The volume is pretty good but not as loud as my old FoxPro with a 30 amp speaker.
I do like the Bluetooth part also. Sometimes I set it up in my shop and play my music play list off my phone.
As far as the battery I have heard it is part of the lifetime warranty but don’t quote me on that.I am not positive about that.

Thank you for the feedback. So far I like everything I have read and seen on youtube. Until now have just not been able to hear from anyone that has real experience. Seems the distribution area is centered around Texas according to the store locator.

I would be using it in NC, Va and especially West Virginia where there is a high population of cats. Now I just need to get over that feeling of trying something new and different. lol

I have one. Mainly I use mouth calls for predators, and I used to use my dads old Foxpro CS-24 a lot for my daytime calling.

The reason I bought the Convergent was for the pig calling sounds. Glen Guess has a bunch of really good hog sounds. This is pretty much "the" unit for calling up pigs just due to his very good library of sounds for that application.

Night is when I usually use it. Normally we are trying to call pigs with it. It does have good predator sounds too though, and I have had good luck with them. The bluetooth range is not that great, well, because it is bluetooth. You just can't expect the kind of range you get from a regular remote. But the sounds are very clear, and volume is pretty good. For sure it will call predators and do a good job of it.

In fact, I call lots of coyotes while I am trying to call pigs. The various piglet in distress sounds like Vampigra, Screamer, Squealer, and baby pig distress work good on coyotes. I use them a lot as kind of a multiple species calling sound.

Like everything it has its plusses and minuses. But it is a quality unit that will do a good job.

Thank you for your response. I understand why this call has so much support in the Texas - Oklahoma region due to the hog hunting. I have heard very little negatives about this system and while I am not a hog hunter (missed the only one I had a shot at in Florida). It sounds like a very good call for Predators. I pursue Bobcats every chance I get and seldom need more range than 20-60 yards so Bluetooth will work. Sound quality sounds excellent. I am going to try to get my hands on a demo to get a better feel for it. But this is the way to go I think.
