I read some post somewhere on here how to convert my foxpro sounds (fxp) to MP3 or WAV. How in the heck do you guys do it??? What windows media version do you need??? Thanks in advance!!

You can't just convert them via software as far as I'm aware. You need to record the sounds into your computer as a .wav or MP3 format file.

There are companys that make converting software.I'm not sure it would convert fxp format because that is foxpro's personal format.Besides that converting software is expensive.Wavepad is 1 such software. They have sound editing, mixing, converting,cd burners, all that stuff.I don't know the link right off hand but you could do a web search. There are free trial software for these programs though.

I suggest using a recording program like audacity or something to record the sound. Its free and works well. It will do waves or MP3s.

Maybe I am wrong, but couldn't you just recored the sound to your computer via a patch cable then save it was wav or mp3?

Bingo ! We have a winner. The 2 questions I have are 1- At what loss to quality of sound are you going to have and 2- if you already have an FX unit to play the FX sounds, why would you wan't to?
