Cool Predator Shows On the Discovery Channel

I accidentally caught the last half of a man-eating Siberian tiger hunt on the discovery channel. Very interesting. The cat had been wounded repeatedly in the past, they found 6 pellets of buck in it's foot, two rifle bullets (7.62?) and a load of bird shot. The tiger swallowed one of the hunters rifles in his "final" attack.

Right now (next show) they're showing man-eating leopards in India. Leopards coming into the city to hunt.

Next up "face to face with a cougar".

I never watch TV other than news, but I'll be in front of the tube for the next hour.
 
yea i caught the siberian tiger one, i guess it just seems wierd to me that there are these huge cats in a place like siberia. i guess i figured siberia and russia to be rather populated and tame places. the coolest thing was the fact that they can get up to 4 meters! thats what, 13 feet? amazing
 
LOL, Siberia is one of the wildest and most untouched areas on earth. It's twice the size of the Amazon Basin (2 1/2 billion acres), with half the population density.

It may well turn into the next big game guided hunting spot too. Outfitters (a few) are starting to offer (among others) bear, moose, and wolf hunts.
