Thanks guys I hade never heard of them I don't stay on top of things like that too much. Sounds like they have a really good product. Would yall prefer on of theirs over a browning or CZ. Thanks
Robert:
I own all three of the makes of rifles you mentioned, so hopefully I'm not personally trying to cast dispersion on another guy's rifle when I say this:
1. A Cooper is an extremely well-made semi-custom single shot rifle in all of the configurations Cooper offers, whether varmint or sporting.
2. Browning and CZ are factory grade repeating rifles.
You might get lucky and walk into Gander Mountain and buy a Browning or a CZ that will shoot as good as your neighbor's Cooper, but I seriously doubt your neighbor bought his Cooper off the rack new at Gander Mountain. And, in the rare instance where his Cooper did not shoot to his total satisfaction, new or used, the folks at Cooper will personally do just about anything to make the customer happpy.
In short, Coopers are not just a standard factory rifle like you find in most places where guns are sold. To illustrate my point, Cooper has only 8 authorized dealers in the entire state of Texas.
HTH - without bringing the wrath of God (in the form of 30K other Browning/CZ owners) down around my neck for saying Coopers are "just a little better" than their, and my, factory rifles. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
