The fact that that is a problem is a problem.
Those same people probably don't like the think about the fact that the beef they are eating had to be killed.
If the term "harvest" or "got" is easier for those people to tolerate, then they likely have a pretty low intelligence/sense ratio.
Now, how many of you incorrectly use the term "yearling"?
Most people I hear using the term "yearling" in regards to deer are actually referring to fawns or "young of the year" and not 1.5 year old deer.
The true definition of "yearling" does not apply to fawns.
