Here's one of my all time favorites: Boolits vs. Bullets


What kind of backwards a** ever came up with that spelling?

"Boolits" sounds and spells like something a stripper might wear on stage, like them little fake cowboy boots with tassles on them? "Mam, those sure are some cute little Boolits Yer' wearin"


The butchering of Hornady also eats at me a bit.

Coyote have always been ky-yote, which by the way is a plural or singular term depending on the context in which it is used?

Example: "Have you killed any coyote lately?" or "How many coyote do you reckon there are in that pack we just heard?"

or "Billy Jo went hunting this morning and came back with 3 big coyote"  I never considered it to be made plural by putting an "s" on the end. Am I wrong?


I agree with Cmiddleton, don't sweat the small stuff, but sometimes it's hard not to?
