Cost of a vasectomy?

Well how much did you pay? I am planning on one this year and am looking at my insurance options right now. I am trying to determine if the cost would warrant a more expensive plan?
 
Easiest way to know is to call a urology provider in your network and ask them what your share will be. I would be sure to use a urologist as it is not something you want to go through twice if you don't have to.
 
My family doc did it for the price of an office visit. If you aren't comfortable with that then your insurance provider can tell you the cost and your doc can make the referral to a urologist.
 
Just like another Dr visit. Make it interesting and have the Mrs do the prep work.

Way cheaper than another kid!! Everything is the same as before, a actually better.

Friend/co-worker went to see him, said it all went great. Drove home after the surgery, was back at work the next day. Didn't let him get carried away for a day or two, but he hardly missed a beat.

Brother-in-law did it many moons ago, all went well, he felt great, went back to work about day 2 or 3, operating dozer at the coal mine. Testicles swelled up about the size of grapefruit! Thought they were going to fall off!! Spent two weeks laying on the couch with an ice pack on his balls!!!

Too bad your not closer to KC. There's a homeless guy down by the river that does them for a six pack.
Seriously they're a snap; just follow the doctors orders and you'll get along great. Frozen peas are your friend. Also, no playing around without having your count checked or you'll have another child like me.
 
They should be free. Unfortunately the world has an over abundance of folks who waited just a little too long to get one.

My insurance carrier CIGNA covered mine 100%.
 
They got the count to 8 method around here. All you need is a beer can and a cherry bomb. Light the cherry bomb, drop it in the can and start counting to 8. 1-2-3-4-5- puts can between knees and counts on other hand, 6-7-bang. Cheap and effective
