Thanks for the leads guys but I couldnt find anything cheap enough that I wouldnt feel bad about burning a bunch of it...

NEW QUESTION!!?!?!
What is the cost to you guys (per round or box) to reload for your 308? Amax?

500 168g AMax bullets $120
500 Win. Brass $170
500 Primers $16
powder $40
I would guess about 70 cents a piece, but cheaper every time you reuse the brass. I bought 500 brass for $170 on sale at Cabelas and reloaded 1 piece 10 times and it looked fine to use again.
I have not had the time to mess with my DPMS .308 all that much...70 cents a pop might seem kind of high, but its a bunch cheaper than my friends 50BMG...it shoots 5 dollar bills.
BTW..you don`t reload yet???

I have come to realize in this day and time, nothing is cheap. Firearms, reloading supplies, gas, food, lodging is all out ragious. Reloading is pricey to get started in, but once you acquire all the tools, it will save you money in the long run. High volume shooting can be expensive if your shooting factory stuff. Even if you shoot the cheap stuff. I have never found cheap ammo to shoot to the accuracy level that I like my rifles to shoot, so I handload. JMO

If you find Tula to be very good then there is no need to reload. You cannot beat that price.

^ It was very good for the purpose at hand, shooting the 200 yard steel gong and just plinking. I totally agree with you but the problem is that I cant find it at anywhere near that price again....

HOOKED:
I dont reload yet. Ive almost made the plunge a few times but have backed out every time. 1) Ive had A LOT of trouble deciding which setup to go with.. 2) Here in just a few months I am going to start med school. Im thinking that it is going to put a SERIOUS damper on my shooting/hunting and I wont be shooting as many rounds... For a while anyway!

Thanks for the help though guys!
