Counter Sniper Scopes

Got a friend who's looking for a scope and asked me about the Counter Sniper scopes http://www.countersniperoptics.com/ he saw in Sportsmans Guide. Well.......I really don't know anything about them so I thought I would see if anyone here has any experience with them. Thanks, RDR

As a general rule anytime you see the word 'sniper' it is probably junk.

A real sniper scope does not need to advertise the word "Sniper" in it to be effective. Just ask Nightforce owners.

super snipers are swfa's own scope and have a pretty good reputation as
being a lot of scope for the money. And reliable.

I bought one of these from Midway, a 3-9 x 42 with an illuminated mil-dot reticle (green and red). Scope is quite heavy but for the price I paid I am happy.

Everyone knows this scope is a horrible sniping scope. But it really shines at counter sniping. However, if the enemy has a "counter-counter sniper" scope...you better watch your back...
And he'd better watch his in case someone has a counter counter counter sniper scope.

Avoid Countersniper they are junk.

SWFA's Super Sniper scopes are a very good value and their new 3-9x42 is mil dot reticle with 1/10 mil clicks and is First Focal Plane. I have two of them and really like them.

i had a coyote shoot back at me with one of those counter sniper deals....glad it was a POS otherwise he would have got me! buy quality or save up until you can afford it. cheap glass is just what it is, cheap glass. the minimum i would, and will use, is the Nikon Coyote Special. it is not on par with my world class scopes but for the money it is the way to go. just my opinion, no flames allowed!!!
