Country singer Chris Ledoux dies.

This man was truely a legend. He lived the way he sang, and was never fake. I am a big fan of his music, having most all of his albums, many prior to Garth Brooks Fame. He will be missed.

That truly is a shame. I love his older cowboy and rodeo music. If you haven't read Gold Buckle Dreams you need to run to the library.

It is a book about his life in rodeo that was wrote before his music went mainstream. A really great read!

This was the first I heard about it and I am really sad about it. I am big fan, and I just realize I have never seen him in concert. I missed out. God bless Chris Ledoux, He is calling coyotes in Heaven with god right now.

I have seen him in concert more time than I can count, but the best was 09/21/2001. It was my birthday, but it was the night that he paid tribute to those that died in the WTC Plane crashes. He played for about 3 hours, and made everyone there feel a lot better about the world.

It stopped me dead in my tracks when I heard of his passing. I too never got around to seeing him live, something I will now regret for the rest of my time here on earth. The mans a hero, a legend, and maybe the last real cowboy singers we will ever see. I should be getting on some bulls again within the week and you can be I'll be listening to Chris before I ride. Rest in peace buddy, we shall miss you.
