Ive killed four with bow and arrow.Best advice be a very good shot and pull the arrow back at the right time,Its all in the timing and of course a little luck dosnt hurt.

I killed 2 with a bow both off of dead live stock piles from across a dike.

Both were luck, 1 was inside horse would come out to run buzzards off I was 30 yards away I had to watch for over an hour before I could shoot. 2nd one was same place about a week later being on the other side of ditch made my walking up easy they were both so concerned with buzzards I think I could have shot and missed and had more opportunities...

I've seen many coyotes with a bow in my hand usually to far away or running or both.

Being from Florida they are almost never worth skinning.

I have killed a double twice with a bow but both times I was in a tree stand deer hunting. I have taken several others and missed my fair share as well. Any rig 40 and up will kill them. The key is shot placement and sharp heads. I prefer to hunt with 60 pounds.

I usually hunt with a traditional bow and getting deer with those is hard enough. It would be much easier with a compound, (got a buck in three outings with one and put the super high tech compound away years ago). Get a shotgun or rifle, no draw motion, can shoot from many different postions, just aim and shoot, hit moving targets w shotgun or shoot thousands of times farther with a rifle. You should get one predator with a bow for every thirty you would get with a firearm, maybe even or 1/50 maybe even 1/70, and that is from a guy who bowhunts thirty days a year. I do not shoot foxes or coyotes in many of my favorite bow hunting deer spots, dont want to mess up/stink up the area. Without calling have had two shots at a coyote and a fox, in a hundred bowhunts (and passed on both) but ahve seen many that were easy shots with a gun. Get a gun when you have learned a lot and made your mistakes try a bow.

Maybe consider a cross bow if you are dead set on getting blood on an arrow... Like others said they are hard enough with a gun

I have killed several coyotes with a bow, and my brother has killed several more. We manufacture a Universal Head Camera Mount that we are trying to promote, and close range bowhunting is the best way to show people what they want to see.

It is not near as hard to get a shot as one would think, but most are not good; I just missed one at 70 yards this morning. Hitting them is a different story. You have to shoot to kill, so expect to loose and break arrows. The main thing is how you set up. You need some cover, and you will want to set up in an area that you can see them coming in, then will go out of site (behind brush or a dip in the terrain) so you can get ready, reposition in needed, and get drawn back just before they come into sight.

I think I might become a sponsor of these forums, so you might be seeing our videos popping up here soon. Good luck
