Coyotes are easy as [beeep] to call in right now, plus you should be getting a bonus dog tagging along.......

Try virgin areas, maybe your opinion might change.

you guys are funny..

Redneck, the deal is that you may be using the wrong sounds. Also remember that you may have been out there at the time they are sleeping.. If you are not real close to a bedding area, and they are sleeping and you are playing the Bunny blues they have heard.. You won't get any action, they won't come.

Breeding season is happening and I would say mostly over, but to Bushmasters point they are still traveling in pairs and looking for denning sites and establishing territories.

Try using more Vocals, I won't tell you which ones, but get out there and try them, you may get better results.

I was out for about half a day on Sunday, and in 5 stands called in 5, mostly using vocals but also TT's jack sounds too.

well its a 60 mile drive to my spot and we usually usually see a couple just on the way there or on the way back i saw 1 set of tracks and no coyotes=[ last few months its just been getting slow all around central oregon from what i have seen

Redneck....you have to take into account that you are calling during the toughest time of the year to call coyotes. Late winter coyotes are wary as well as survivors. The bunny blues won't get it and its really past time for vocalization calls appealing to mating instincts. I suggest you use interrogation howls, and challenge howls and barks that appeal to a mating pair's territorial protection instinct. Also, try using calls that appeal to their curiosity such as coyotes fighting and/or bird calls. Give your stand additional time when using curiosity calls...as much as 45 minutes. Next month the fawn distress should work for you. Its the time of year when you need to open the variety playbook of coyote calling. Good luck.
