Good luck mulie03. Cheaters will find a way to beat the system no matter what rules you come up with. The lie detector test seems to be real effective, but even honest hunters hate to be subjected to a lie detector test. I know because I have had to take a lie detector test two times at the Graham, Texas varmint hunts. Passed both tests with flying colors because we hunt strickly by the rules, but I still got nerves taking the test.
Just an ideal.
The Graham, Texas hunt has always been based on the system that the more animals you bring in, the more points you get and whatever team has the most points wins. My understanding is that for the 2005 contests they are changing the rules. They are only going to accept a maximun or 8 animals from each team and single animal weights will be used to break ties. I guess the idea behind this is to give everyone a better chance to win. I have not actually seen the new rules, but that is the rumor thats going around.
Something you might want to consider for your contest.
