coyote hunting in louisiana

hey guys..
im from louisiana and i want to get into hunting the coyotes.. questions though.. first off in the wildlife and fisheries site it says that during rifle and archery for deer chase only for coyote is allowed.. what is classified as a chase? do i have to use dogs or what? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yes that is refering to running with dogs. Coyotes are open to hunting without dogs year around. Good Luck!

Rifles, Archery gears, and Shotguns smaller than 10 gauge are completely legal for hunting coyotes in Louisiana.
