Coyote hunting license fees for non-residents

Just wondering how much the non-resident license (which allows you to kill coyotes) costs in your state?? It'd be great to get the answer from all states, so this could go in the archives. For example: here in NY, a non-resident needs a small game license which costs $55 to hunt coyotes, bobacts, fox, and coon.

Great topic idea!
In Pennsylvania
For Coyote one only needs the reg hunting license
at $101.00 anytime except During any bear or deer season at night (2 hours before and after sunrise/set)
With Furtakers tag @ $81.00 you eliminate those exceptions and can also take fox and coon
Bobcat are special permit by lottery

In order for a non-resident to hunt coyotes and fox in North Dakota you must purchase a Non-Resident fishing, hunting, and furbearer certificate for $2.00; a nonresident general game and habitat license for $13.00; and a nonresident furbearer and nongame license (good for fox and coyotes only) for $25.00. Total would be $40.00. The nongame license is necessary for you to legally shoot skunks, prairie dogs, rabbits and ground squirrels. If you are only interested in the nongame species, you can buy that nongame license for $15.00 instead of the $25.00 furbearer and nongame license, but you will still need the $2.00 and $13.00 certificate and license.

Ks report.

Coyotes (hunting not trapping)--$71 nonres hunt

Cats, coon, fox, other furbearers, or to trap yotes is $251 non res furbearer license

Good idea, keep the stats coming.

In New Hampshire you get socked with a $103.00 non res license fee plus a $2.50 Habitat Fee.

Minors under 16 do not have to buy a license to hunt, but they must hunt with a licensed adult over 18 who is in direct control of the minor, which usually means arms length.

Oklahoma report:

According to the regulations: No season or possession limit. Unless keeping the fur no tag or license needed the way I understand it.

Minnesota you have to have a NR small game license and a NR fur harvester's license. Total will run you about $235.00.

Oklahoma clarification:

Hunting (shooting) coyotes, annual Non-Res lisence $92.50. Five day Non-Res $42.50.

Hunting lisence only needed to hunt coyotes year round, whether you keep the hide or not. An additional trapping lisence is required to trap.

Bobcats: Same hunting lisence to hunt (shoot) bobcats. Season runs from Dec. 1-Feb. 28.

No additional tags are required.

Texas

5-Day License $45
Annual License $125

Oklahoma

You better have a license.....both residents and non-residents. You also need to tag bobcats once you have taken them...no fee involved.

In Nevada, All you need to hunt coyotes is a truck, calls, and gun. No lisence is needed.
But that dont mean i want you all over here shooting my coyotes! Bobcat abd grey fox are cosed to non residents. HA HA. Kit fox is open to non residents(Oct.1- Feb 29) but you must have a non resident fur trappers lisence $151. and Mt Lion tags for non resident is $101. But you might need a hunting lisence for the lion tag which would be another $111. Coyote and lion are open year around. Yes, beleave it or not hunting coyotes in the summer is legal. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

In Iowa you need a $200.00 Fur-harvestor license, and a $8.50 Habitat stamp for non residents.

South Dakota requires a $35.00 predator license for non residents.

I would have to look it up, but I was thinking you can hunt coyote with a small game license in IA. It may be different for non res, that is what I would need to look up. In WY there is no license or fee for fox, coon, coyote.T.20

Montana coyote , predator , not protected , only a fee if your trapping . goto www.fwp.state.mt.us for more info , I went to their search area and put in coyote hunting , this transfered me to the regulations concerning non-game animals .
