Coyote vrs Dog track

Is there a way to tell the difference between a dog track and a coyote?

Dog tracks are round in shape and the same size front and back foot. Coyote tracks are more oval shaped with the front foot larger than the hind. Coyote tracks also touch each other, the hind foot will be placed almost on top of the front foot. Dog tracks generally don't touch. Jimmie

Thanks Jimmie, I wondered how to tell the difference, now I know. I new the differenc between dog and fox but not coyote. thanks again.
