Coyotes and calfs

First post of many

I'm helping a friend during calf season by removing as many coyotes as possible. I moved to an adjacent pasture, set the tripod, dropped the call 50 yrds out and had there overrun the call in seconds, too quick for a shot. My question, how soon to go back? I took one out of this field 3-4 days ago, came from same direction.

If it were me? This weekend. Use a different approach, set up differently, and use different sounds. Have fun!

I would’ve moved locations and called again. Of course it seems our coyotes aren’t that call shy or smart at times.

But make sure you pattern it first. There's more to it than just grabbing a box of ammo.
