creek chub trap?

Ok, so I have a creek running through our property, lots of carp bullhead etc, as well as what they call a creek chub.

anyone here made a trap for these?
I am wanting to catch them and use them for baiting my sets. seems like I do the best with sardines/old fish so I figure Id catch a bunch freeze it and use as needed.

anybody made a big ole minnow trap before?

Just buy a regular minnow trap and cut the hole accordingly. I do this for catching bluegills for catfish bait
