Crosshairs not centered on Wraith Scope?

So I mounted the Wraith on a rail riser/extension and had to move the crosshairs to the right and high using up almost all the adjustment.

When you look in the screen now the crosshairs are high and to the left in the picture? Not self-centering?

Not very happy with this..

Was this on an AR platform? I just received my new Wraith yesterday and mounted it on my AR with out a riser block. I have a collapsible stock and had to mount it back in the last slot near the charging handle. I have to tilt my head a little and get as close as possible to the eye piece to see the full screen.

I had the same issue with a Sightmark Photon XT. I ended up getting a 20 MOA rail which brought it very close to center.

No.. a shotgun. Weatherby PA-459. As it looks now it will end up on an AR-15 platform with a collapsible stock. The splash isn't real bad when not up against the eye piece but I haven't put it into practice hunting???

Yep, I wondered about that as an option. Good to hear!

Probably for the best, I don't think the Wraith is rated for shotgun. Some of the digisight are. With optics that have a digital screen that don't self center, you have to rely on bases, shims, or adjustable mounts in order to get the barrel and scope looking in the same spot

I was shooting reduced loads, #4 buck shot. The recoil was at or below that of the 308 rating. It was to be used for an area that held some cats but is brushy. I'll be trying to call them out of that area I guess..

Not ideal for sure. Moving targets not at all. But this cat just sat there in thick undercover looking at me.

I put a Wraith on an AR15, 50 yards first shot about 2" from bull, one shot to confirm reticle setting. Put Wraith on a Rem 700, 100 yards select and created new weapon. Shot one shot, 9" right, made adjustment shot 7 o'clock on 1" bull, adjustment for 1" high from center of bull- take shot poi 1" high centered. I exited reticle setting between shots and adjustments. Reticle was always centered after exit

Hey Spotstalkshoot, how do you like the Wraith on the 700 as far as eye relief and useability as compared to mounted on the AR15?

The R700 has an EGW 0 moa rail with the Wraith and with the HS police stock the Wraith is slightly high. I am looking for a padded cheek rest(I think 1/14-3/8" will level up) with a pocket for a auxiliary power pack. With the AR for me the Wraith was slightly lower than my 30mm Burris qd pepr mount. The reticle setting for the 22-250 is x37 y7, the AR zero setting is x14,-y7. Reticle is in center with both reticle settings. I can't move the Wraith back as far as I would like to, but so far on targets the eye relief space has not been an issue. I'm using the factory supplied mount(thumb screw) the qd mount is 60.00.
